Gave it a shot - Doesn’t work with MBP Retina w/External Monitor

Only $2, so gave it a shot. Does NOT work with a MacBook Pro w/Retina on an External Monitor (tv). Highest resolution you can get shows as 1920x1080, yet all the fonts are still blurry.
